The approved Carrefour dividend is 0.97 € by share for the financial year 2025, with a detachment on 26 May 2026 and a payment on 28 May 2026. An additional coupon of 0.21 € is also announced, but its payment remains subject to conditions. Total of 1.18 € therefore should not be confused with an amount fully acquired.

Dividend amount: separate approved payment from supplement

To read Carrefour's announcements correctly, two components must be distinguished: the dividend approved by the general meeting and the additional coupon. Their addition gives a potential amount per share, but their terms of payment are not identical.

These amounts are separate input values; the conditional amount does not constitute a definitively acquired dividend.

You can change the value after choosing a predefined amount.

Indicative calculation, excluding taxation. The result depends in particular on the date of the price chosen and the status of the dividend, which may be subject to confirmation or conditions.

Boursier.com reports an overall amount of 685 046 531,86 € for the approved dividend of 0.97 € by action. The additional coupon represents an amount announced of EUR 150 million, or 0.21 million. € by action.

Why the 0.21 € are not yet a certain income

The supplement is subject to the determination by the Board of Directors of the fulfilment of conditions relating to the sale of Carrefour Romania. It is therefore not enough for a table to display 1,18 € to consider the whole as definitively payable. The confirmation of these conditions and the timing of the supplement must be verified in a subsequent communication from Carrefour.

Other shade: the term balance means a component of the distribution as it appears in history. It does not mean that all other announced payments have become final.

Detachment and payment: the dates that determine your rights

The reference year, announcement and payment are three different benchmarks. A dividend for fiscal year 2025 may be approved and paid in 2026. To avoid confusion, always combine the amount with the fiscal year, then separately check the due dates.

  • Announcement presents a proposal or decision: its scope depends on the stage of approval.
  • The detachment marks the time when the action is negotiated without the right to the distribution concerned.
  • Payment is the expected payment date, separate from that of the secondment.

For the approved dividend of 0.97 €, the timetable indicated is therefore 26 May 2026 for the detachment and 28 May 2026 for the payment. These dates shall not be automatically applied to the additional coupon of 0.21 €.

Should we buy before the detachment?

A share purchased on the day of secondment does not entitle the dividend concerned. Securities eligible for such distribution must be held in accordance with the rules applicable to the transaction. In the case of purchases close to maturity, check the terms with your intermediary, rather than relying solely on the payment date.

The amount announced is gross: the amount actually credited depends in particular on the applicable taxation and the holding framework. Buying just before the detachment also does not ensure an equivalent gain to the coupon, as the share price evolves and integrates the dividend detachment.

History: Compare exercises without mixing components

The historical BNains allows us to monitor the evolution of the distributions. For recent years, the separation between balance and exceptional share is essential: an increase in total does not necessarily reflect an equivalent increase in regular distribution.

BNains includes 0.97 € and 0.21 € exceptional for fiscal year 2025. Boursier.com's current affairs, however, requires that their schedule and status be distinguished: the conditional supplement should not be presented as paid on the same date as the balance.

To take the pulse of a distribution policy, observe its regularity rather than its only high point. Separate, year after year, the recurring payment of one-time supplements, and then record the reductions and payment gaps. This reading shows the pace of expected income: an exceptional coupon can inflate a year without increasing the sums on which to build a budget.

Performance and forecasts: figures to read with their date

According to the definition presented by Boursorama, the performance corresponds to the dividend per share divided by stock exchange rate, multiplied by 100. It therefore varies with the price used, even when the dividend remains unchanged.

The forecasts posted by Boursorama on November 3, 2026, with a consensus dated November 2, 2026, present the following values. They constitute a dated photograph, not a guarantee of distribution.

YearDividend per action displayedDisplayed yieldReading
20251,18 €7,24 %Total to be approximated to additional coupon status
20261,04 €6,38 %Estimate
20271,10 €6,75 %Estimate

Boursorama attributes its consensus to FactSet. An aggregation of analyst estimates does not replace a decision of the general meeting. Similarly, two published returns may differ because they use different price or dividend components: BNains thus indicates 5.67 % on the pay line for fiscal year 2025.

To verify information, consult the financial statements, resolutions and results of the general meeting on the Carrefour website. Then use BNains for historical and Boursorama for dated estimates. Before comparing, check four elements: the year, gross amount, payment status and rate of return. A high return does not guarantee the maintenance of the dividend or a total positive return on the share.
